The House on Henry Street
Exhibition Branding & Website Design
After 125 years of service, Henry Street Settlement wanted to create an exhibition to celebrate their legacy. As part of this project, they needed an identity that felt contemporary, yet touched on their past as a visiting nurse service of the Lower East Side. Inspired by newspapers, tickets and other ephemera from the early 20th century, the branding highlights the settlements strong voice and gentle approach to helping a community in need.
Every year, Mural Arts Philadelphia celebrates their accomplishments with an artistically rich and energetic event, known as WallBall. This year, Bluecadet wanted to create an experience that captured the supporters that help make this event possible. The Mural Mirror, an interactive photo booth, uses the process of machine-learning to reflect the supporters in their favorite murals.
Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian
"Americans" Exhibition Website Design
To compliment their new on-site exhibition 'Americans', the National Museum of the American Indian wanted a digital experience that transcended the gallery space. This storytelling website surrounds the visitors with hundreds of commonly seen objects and raises thought provoking questions about our conflicted past with Indians. From Land O' Lakes butter to South Park, Indians appear everywhere.
Online Brand Refresh & Website Design
As a news station with a core mission to stay relevant, WHYY thought it was time to give their online presence a refresh. With a mobile first design and updated aesthetic, the new site appeals to a younger audience and serves a community constantly on-the-go. The site brings together WHYY's award-winning news service and their array of popular radio shows like Fresh Air, Radio Times and Newsworks Tonight.
New York Academy of Medicine
Exhibition Concept Design
For nearly 100 years, the New York Academy of Medicine has been a trusted resource for doctors and scholars. As part of a new campaign, the building is being transformed into a museum and focusing on public health. These architectural renderings, done in collaboration with Studio Joseph, brought clarity to their vision by proposing physical and digital opportunities within the space.
Concept and Product Design
The NASA Goddard Visitors Center, located in Greenbelt Maryland, works to reinterpret the latest research from the scientists to the public. A new exhibit, Neighborhood Earth, focuses on our very own environmental system and how it impacts our life. The NASA Data lens, an interactive tool, breaks down complex scientific visualizations and allows the visitor to isolate, examine and compare Earth's air, water, and life systems. Visitors can also merge their lenses to discover connections within the system: from Saharan dust feeding the Amazon, to Hawaiian water raining over Seattle.
